Outlander is an action driving video game with a post-apocalyptic theme. It was developed and published by Mindscape in 1992 for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis[1] and in 1993 for the Super Nintendo.[2] The game shares many similarities to the Mad Max film series, due to the fact that it was originally developed as 'Max Mad' adaptation based on its sequel, but near completion Mindscape was unable to hold the rights to the license and the title was changed to 'Outlander'.
