Ghoul Patrol is a Super Nintendo video game that is a sequel to Zombies Ate My Neighbors. It was released in September 1994 by LucasArts and later on the Wii Virtual Console in North America on January 25, 2010 and the PAL region on May 14, 2010. A Sega Mega Drive/Genesis version published by Virgin Interactive was also to be released, but it was cancelled before launch. Summary[edit] The game stars Zeke and Julie, the characters from Zombies Ate My Neighbors, who must travel through five worlds to save their town from a horror exhibit come to life. The game has a host of monsters such as flesh-eating plants, ninja spirits, and ghosts that jump out of garbage cans. There is a wide range of weapons including plasma guns, plunger arrows, squirt guns, and various other tools to defeat your enemies. According to Toshiyasu Morita, a programmer and technology manager at LucasArts during the mid-1990s, this sequel was made by a third party that licensed the use of the Zombies Ate My Neighbors engine for this purpose.[2]
